Wandsworth Women's Aid provide a safe, effective and efficient service to women and children experiencing domestic violence. 

Our objectives are  'The relief of distress and suffering experienced by women who have been gravely or persistently maltreated by their husbands or by their co-habitees or by the fathers of their children and are in necessitous circumstances and their children in like circumstances'.

In furtherance of these objectives we aim

To provide advice, support and information to women to enable them to start new lives and to make independent decisions about their future

To provide care, support and stimulation for the children and to assist in their settlement into local nurseries and schools

To assist the women to find permanent accommodation for themselves and their children, and to offer continued support whilst they settle in their new homes

To provide women with additional support and advice as appropriate according to their individual needs

Wandsworth Women's Aid currently operates three refuge houses in the Borough of Wandsworth and employs six full time and two part-time staff who manage the refuges and provide support and services to residents.

WWA are affiliated to Women's Aid Federation of England (WAFE).

Wandsworth Womens Aid (WWA) are funded by Wandsworth Borough Council, Wandle Housing Association, Supporting People and The Association of London Government
